Description
After destemming and pressing, the free-run juice settled statically for 48 hours. Fermentation and aging occur in 2500L French oak casks (50%) and cement tanks (50%). The wine ages for 11 months “sur lie” without batonnage, followed by an additional 10 months in stainless steel.
Estrela Branco has a complex aroma. Notes of orange peel, raw nuts, and dried tea leaves are the most prominent. On the palate, it exhibits marked acidity and minerality, with citrus fruit enhanced and a creamy texture from fermentation in wooden casks, well-integrated. Contains sulfites.
