Description
The majority of the wine is made from the Touriga Nacional grape, with the remaining blend consisting of Alfrocheiro and Tinta Roriz. The fermentation process takes place in a traditional winepress (lagar). Despite the aging in the bottle, the wine’s aroma remains youthful, with some restrained elements. With aeration, one can perceive a beautiful blend of red and black fruits, accompanied by hints of pine, a subtle touch of licorice, and truffles. The oak influence from the barrel aging is present in the right measure. When tasting the wine, its depth and richness on the palate become evident, with a perfect level of acidity and overall freshness. The finish is very long, displaying patina and elegance, leaving a lasting impression.
