The first Portuguese wine made from this grape variety – it is a tribute to the producer’s experiences in Southern Africa, where the grape is more commonly grown. This connection between the two regions now emerges with the production of the grape in Portugal, the country where Mário Pinheiro (CEO of Ribafreixo) currently resides.
